SYNOPSIS
iC2 is a Company Limited by guarantee with charitable objectives set up to raise awareness of the impact West African/African culture and traditions has had on the development of London and Southwark infrastructures. Population wise, Africans make up the largest ethnic group in Southwark, 16.1% to be precise according to the last population census in 2001, and the single largest concentration of West Africans in the UK. ic2 aims to promote this by organising events that raise awareness and promotes West-African cultural practices and heritage.
Our current program is a series of exhibition, titled A Cultural History of West Africa in Southwark.
The Mayor Cllr. Vicky Naish and Exec Dir. of ic2 Mr 'Femi Falana and a cross section of participants at the exhibition.
