Our Vision
Like the hub of a wheel, Elephant and Castle lies at the very centre of the commercial arteries that serve Greater London. Only minutes from eleven Thames river crossings and served by the tube, buses, overland rail and potentially two new tram routes, this is one of the capital's best connected localities.
Before Elephant and Castle became a traffic-dominated district, it served as a meeting point where people came to socialise, shop and be entertained. Our plan is simple
We want to return the heart to Elephant and Castle - to create a place where people travel to, not through.
Over the past two years, we have been testing, refining and consulting upon a development framework that will underpin the radical transformation of Elephant and Castle over the next ten years.
